Property Tax

As discussed above, I was active in the fight to reform property taxes.  As you may know, there is a loophole in the Constitution which allows taxing bodies to increase your property taxes, without your approval and in many cases without your knowledge.   Due to my efforts in the Legislature, taxing bodies will have to postpone the Internet their desire to increase property taxes for the first time. Since the Internet has been in commercial use for 15 years, it is only fitting that taxing bodies be required to provide online notice to the public.

Despite rolling up Milledge is last year, many taxing bodies have scheduled meetings this year to further rollout their Milledge.  A copy of these meetings appears below:
